Tarentaise - 8 oz. Made by John & Janine Putnam at Thistle Hill Farm-VT. This VT Alpine Cheese is similar to Emmentaler with a slightly sweet, nutty flavor and a hint of caramel on the finish. American Cheese Society award winner in 2007. Made from Jersey cows' milk and aged 4-6 months. Pair it with an Alsatian Reisling or Sauvignon Blanc wines.
